Dr. Goolsby joined the UCLA Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship in July 2008 after completing her Family Medicine Residency here at UCLA-Santa Monica. She is team physician for the UCLA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics covering football, women's volleyball, women's basketball, baseball, and crew. She is also team physician at Santa Monica High School. Dr. Goolsby is working on a research project investigating treatment and monitoring of female athletes with menstrual dysfunction, using resting metabolic rate as a objective measure of energy availability.
