Shirah Vollmer MD is a board certified child and adult psychiatrist, and a psychoanalyst. She has been at UCLA as a faculty member since June, 1991. She currently teaches in Family Medicine and her responsibilities include ensuring the residents understand psychopharmacology. In addition, Dr. Vollmer has a private practice in Westwood Village, California where she sees children, adults and couples, for psychotherapy and for psychopharmacology.
